Software Highlights For MFT 6.2 Honda
- Multimeter Functions Available in Data List - Meter functionality has been added to the SnapList functionality. While viewing a SnapList, the F6 key will turn on/off the meter function, utilizing the measurement signal from the DLS or EDLS lead set. The meter function will appear as the first data item in the list. Available modes are Volts, Duty Cycle, Frequency, P/W (H/L), and current. If you highlight the meter parameter, the Yes/No keys will change the item.
- Auto ID - The Auto ID feature will work on a few MY04s and most MY05s. This is a function of the ECU implementation of Mode $09 VIN reporting. Manual entry is also available.
- DTC Retrieval - There is a new Honda SnapList called DTC Status which reports the status of individual DTC tests. Please be advised that not all DTCs report in this mode, and this a function of the ECU, not the tool. We report exactly what the OEM tool does.
- Data List - The User List allows selection of custom parameters from the entire list.
- Output Controls - The ECU will report all tests, but may not support them all. If the ECU does not support the test it will report a message of NOT SUPPORTED. This is identical to the OEM tool behavior Note: MY04 Acura RL, Honda Odyssey/Pilot AT controls use a unique communication and are not implemented in this release. They can be accessed through the OE software in Limited Mode.
