The 9600’s sanding action is the same as the Model 900, but with more power per
square inch of paper. The geared 6" pad moves in a non-repeating pattern, and is
aggressive enough for knock-down while allowing enough finesse for feather edging.
The 9600 is extremely smooth and quiet. The driven gear “floats” on a cushioned
mounting, providing smooth control with the power of a gear driven design. Both the
standard 6" pad, and the optional 5" pad use standard abrasives.
